Raising Awareness
First Annual Move for Sleep Run
The Narang Lab proudly joined the Canadian Sleep Society (CSS) and the Canadian Sleep & Circadian Network (CSCN) to celebrate World Sleep Day (March 19th, 2021).
The Move For Sleep fundraiser aimed to bring awareness to the importance of healthy sleep habits through a 5K activity challenge of your choice (running, walking, biking etc.).

Great Canadian Sleep Walk

Colin Massicotte, RPGST, and his daughter, Avril, ran 5km together for Great Canadian Sleepwalk to raise awareness about healthy sleep and raise funds for the Canadian Sleep Society. It was a hot day, but they got it done!
Many kids are too tired to get enough physical activity during the day, and not active enough to be tired at night - it's a vicious cycle. For optimal health, children and youth need to sweat, step, sleep and sit the right amounts (ParticipACTION).
Canadian Sleep Society Sleep Walk

Dr. Narang and Colin Massicotte, RPGST, joined the Canadian Sleep Society's 5km Sleep Walk to raise awareness about healthy sleep and raise funds for the Canadian Sleep Society at the 2023 conference.
